The car is finished in metallic blue with a black soft top, which can be seen raised in the gallery. Exterior details include polished side moldings, gold “Porsche 1600 Super” badging, body-color bumpers, and headlight stone guards. A tonneau cover, luggage rack, and side curtains are included in the sale.
The 15” Fuchs-style alloy wheels are mounted with Nexen tires. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel disc brakes.
The cabin features fixed-back Speedster-style bucket seats upholstered in dark blue leather with a color-coordinated dashboard top. Lap belts are fitted for both occupants, and amenities include a push-button starter, a SafeCraft fire suppression system, Coco mats, a height-adjustable rear-view mirror, a Vintage Speed short shifter, an ivory shift knob, and a Clarion CD stereo wired to speakers in both doors.
A wood-rimmed three-spoke steering wheel fronts a body-color dashboard fascia and frames a 200-km/h speedometer, a tachometer, and a combination gauge. The seller reports the auxiliary gauges are nonfunctional, and the horn only functions using a button on the dashboard. The five-digit mechanical odometer indicates 15k kilometers (~9k miles) approximately 300 of which were added during current ownership.
The 1,915cc flat-four was reportedly built by Jake Raby of Raby’s Aircooled Technology and is equipped with dual carburetors and a ceramic-coated exhaust system with a MagnaFlow muffler. An oil change was performed in July 2021.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Pro Street four-speed manual transaxle and a 3.88:1 rear gear.
