The Cayman R was approximately 120 pounds lighter than the S model due to a fixed rear wing, aluminum doors, and additional lightweight components. This example is finished in GT Silver Metallic and features bi-xenon headlights, fog lights, quarter-panel intakes, and dual center exhaust outlets.
Black-painted 19″ lightweight wheels are mounted with 235/35 front and 295/30 rear Michelin Pilot Sport tires. The car is equipped with Porsche Stability Management, and braking is handled by four-piston Porsche-branded red calipers over cross-drilled rotors measuring 12.5″ and 11.8″ front and rear, respectively. The brake fluid was reportedly flushed in June 2022.
The cabin features carbon-fiber bucket seats upholstered in black leather with Alcantara inserts along with a body-color center console. Amenities include Silver Grey seatbelts and door handle pulls, the Sport Chrono Package, automatic climate control, cruise control, a Bluetooth-capable CD stereo, and the Sound Package Plus.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a hoodless instrument cluster housing a central 8k-rpm tachometer, a 190-mph speedometer, and gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. The digital odometer indicates 4,100 miles. The Carfax report lists a mileage inconsistency in July 2022 stemming from a previous reading of 80k miles that was recorded earlier that month.
The mid-mounted 3.4L flat-six is located ahead of the rear cargo area and was factory rated at 330 horsepower and 273 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual transaxle, and the car was optioned with the sports exhaust system. The Carfax report shows service in June 2022 that consisted of replacing the spark plugs and ignition coils along with performing an oil change.
