The car is finished in AMG Alubeam Silver and features gullwing doors with pop-out handles as well as bi-xenon headlamps, a speed-activated rear spoiler, straked front fender vents, power-folding mirrors, Parktronic parking sensors, and polished exhaust outlets.
Staggered-diameter 19″ and 20″ 10-spoke alloy wheels are mounted with Continental ContiSportContact tires that measure 265/35 up front and 295/30 out back and show 2010 date codes. The car is equipped with an optional AMG performance suspension system and speed-sensitive power steering. Stopping power is provided by AMG-branded brake calipers over cross-drilled and slotted rotors at all four corners.
The cabin features heated power-adjustable seats trimmed in black and Classic Red Designo Exclusive leather that extends to the lower dashboard, center console, and door panel inserts. Amenities include an Alcantara headliner, a rearview camera, Keyless-GO, optional extended carbon-fiber interior trim, a Bang & Olufsen sound system, dual-zone automatic climate control, and COMAND infotainment with navigation.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 240-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 7,500-rpm redline, as well as shift indicator lights and gauges for oil temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 6k miles.
The hand-assembled 6.2-liter M159 DOHC V8 was factory rated at 563 horsepower and 479 lb-ft of torque and features dry-sump lubrication, as well as an AMG-branded plaque atop the intake manifold that displays engine builder’s name.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a carbon-fiber driveshaft, a seven-speed dual-clutch transaxle, and a limited-slip differential.
The window sticker shows delivery to Mercedes-Benz of Tucson and lists factory colors, optional and standard equipment, as well as a total retail price of $213,875.
A first aid kit, two key fobs, an owner’s manual, a window sticker, and manufacturer’s literature will accompany the car.
