Silver 15″ wide-five aluminum wheels are mounted with 185/65 Michelin Premier tires. Stopping power is provided by front discs and rear drums. The seller states the rear brakes were serviced in June 2021.
The cabin houses heated fixed-back bucket seats trimmed in tan upholstery with a color-coordinated dashboard top and door panels. Plush carpets and Coco mats line the floors, and equipment includes an adjustable rear-view mirror, a heater with a selectable fan blower and diverter, interior courtesy lamps, a hidden kill switch, Bosch horns, a Unique pedal assembly, a 12v power port, and a hidden audio system with Bluetooth connectivity, four amplified component speakers, and an 8″ subwoofer.
The wood-trimmed three-spoke steering wheel frames a body-color dashboard housing a 130-mph speedometer that was rebuilt by Hollywood Speedometer along with a tachometer and a combination gauge. The odometer shows 45k miles, approximately 5k of which were added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.
The CB Performance 2,110cc flat-four is said to have been overhauled in 2013 and breathes through twin 44mm Weber carburetors. Additional equipment includes a CB Performance Snake Bite serpentine belt system, a Compu-Fire ignition module kit, a Bosch alternator, a fender-mounted oil cooler, an electric fuel pump, and an A-1 exhaust system with a Sebring-style finisher. Service in June 2022 reportedly included adjusting the valves, replacing the spark plugs, and performing an oil change.
Power is sent to the rear wheels via a rebuilt four-speed manual transaxle with a 3.44:1 gear ratio. Additional photos of the underside are provided in the image gallery.
An SB100 sticker, which provides emissions testing exemption status for the life of the vehicle, is affixed and describes the vehicle as a “1959 SPNCS Replica PO” and shows an assigned VIN of CA975263. The California-issued VIN plate affixed to the car can be viewed in the gallery.
