This M Coupe is one of 22 finished in Estoril Blue over Estoril Blue and black Nappa leather for the North American market for the model year. This example was ordered without a sunroof and features front fender vents, a rear window wiper, and quad exhaust outlets. A July 2022 pre-purchase inspection performed by Bullet Performance in Costa Mesa, California noted that the rear bumper has been repainted.
Shadow-finished 17″ Style 40 wheels are mounted with Dunlop Direzza Sport Z1 tires measuring 225/45 up front and 245/40 out back. The car is equipped with Dynamic Stability Control and All Season Traction, and braking is handled by four-wheel ventilated discs.
The cabin features Estoril Blue and black Nappa leather covering the heated sport seats which wear M-branded stickers on the headrests. Amenities include air conditioning, cruise control, an alarm system, a carphone, a CD stereo, a Harman Kardon sound system, and an aftermarket radar detector. The July 2022 pre-purchase inspection noted wear on the driver’s seat outer bolster, frayed carphone wires, a cracked rearview mirror, and a sagging glovebox door.
The M-branded steering wheel features tri-color stitching and frames a tachometer with an 8k-rpm redline, a 170-mph speedometer, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 39k miles, less than 100 of which were added during current ownership.
The 3.2-liter S54B32 inline-six features double-VANOS variable valve timing and a Siemens MSS 54 engine management control system. Output was factory rated at 315 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque. Records indicate that the engine mounts were replaced and that the oil was also changed in July 2022.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a ZF five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential.
