NAS models were equipped with a roll cage from the factory, and this example features aluminum body panels finished in Coniston Green with black wheel arch flares. Additional features include a front brush guard, a black soft top, a tubular rear bumper, and a receiver hitch. A rear plaque identifies this truck as #1703 of approximately 2,000. Cracks are visible on various rubber trim components, while chips, scratches, and imperfections are shown up close in the gallery. The seller notes the front bumper was repaired in 1996 as a result of an accident.
Factory 16″ five-spoke wheels are mounted with BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain T/A tires measuring 265/75, and a matching spare is mounted on the swing-out carrier at the rear. Stopping power is provided by power-assisted discs at all four corners, and the truck is equipped with power steering and Bilstein shocks.
The front bucket seats and rear bench were reupholstered in black and are complemented by a color-coordinated dashboard and door panels. Interior amenities include a Sony CD stereo, rubberized floor mats, and a locking center console. The center console lid is scratched, and damage is visible at the base of the driver’s seat.
The two-spoke steering wheel frames a 120-mph speedometer and a 6k-rpm tachometer as well as gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 120k miles, all of which were added under current ownership.
The 3.9-liter V8 was factory rated at 182 horsepower and 232 lb-ft of torque. The head gaskets were reportedly replaced in 2016, and the truck passed an emissions inspection in April 2021.
Power is sent to all four wheels through a five-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. Additional photos of the underside are presented in the gallery below.
The window sticker shows initial delivery to Land Rover San Jose in California, along with factory colors, equipment, and a total amount of $28,800.
