Oxford White 16″ five-spoke alloy wheels with Saleen-logo center caps are wrapped in 225/50 front and 255/50 rear BFGoodrich g-Force Sport Comp-2 tires. The Saleen-installed Racecraft suspension included electronically-adjustable Monroe Formula GP shocks and struts, a Monroe Formula GP axle damper, strut tower braces, and urethane sway bar pivot bushings. Baer brakes were reportedly fitted under prior ownership.
The cabin features two FloFit adjustable bucket seats upholstered in gray and white leather with yellow piping and mesh headrests joined by a color-coordinated dashboard, door panels, and carpet. Amenities include a 10-speaker sound system, a Pioneer stereo with a CD player, air conditioning, a Hurst quick-ratio shifter, a four-point chassis support system, and power windows and door locks.
The passenger-side dashboard bears an inscription and Steve Saleen’s signature, and it identifies this car as SSC 146.
The three-spoke steering wheel features cruise control buttons and Steve Saleen’s signature, and it fronts a 200-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. The five-digit mechanical odometer shows 18k miles.
The 5.0-liter V8 features electronic fuel injection and was modified by Saleen with polished aluminum valve covers, a 65mm throttle body, larger cylinder head ports, a high-performance air filter, and a Walker Dynomax low-restriction exhaust with high-flow catalytic converters. Aftermarket exhaust headers were reportedly installed under prior ownership and the removed headers are included in the sale.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Borg-Warner T-5 five-speed manual transmission and a Traction-Lok limited-slip differential. Additional photos of the underside are provided in the gallery.
The Saleen spec sheet lists equipment and modifications along with a manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $36,500.
Owner’s manuals are included in the sale along with a Saleen letter of certification, a serialized matching car cover, SSC-related magazines and literature, and the removed headers and brakes.
