Six-spoke 16″ wheels wear Roundel center caps and are mounted with 245/50 Yokohama AS40 50VR tires. The car is equipped with a MacPherson strut semi-trailing arm suspension, a larger front anti-roll bar than the standard E24, and a rear anti-roll bar. Braking is handled by four-wheel ventilated discs with ABS. Photos show corrosion on the brake calipers, and the seller states that the suspension requires service.
The cabin features seating surfaces upholstered in Lotus White leather along with a color-coordinated center console, lower dashboard, and door panels. Amenities include cruise control, an onboard computer, power windows, front and rear air conditioning, and power-adjustable front bucket seats with position memory for the driver as well as a Sony AM/FM/cassette stereo with a CD changer. The seller states that the driver’s seat upholstery was repaired in 2021, and photos show wear on the driver’s door armrest as well as in the center sections of the front seats.
The three-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 170-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. The six-digit mechanical odometer shows 86k miles, approximately 33k of which were added under current ownership.
The 3.5-liter S38B35 inline-six features individual throttle bodies and was factory rated at 256 horsepower and 243 lb-ft of torque. The seller states that a fuel injector was replaced in 2021.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. Per the seller, the clutch master and slave cylinders were replaced in 2021.
Manufacturer’s literature is included in the sale.
A spare set of metric basketweave wheels will accompany the car.
