The truck left the factory finished in two-tone Bahama Blue (5004-A) and Wimbledon White (1619-A), and it is said to have been stripped to bare metal before it was repainted under previous ownership. The grille, headlight bezels, bumpers, and windshield are reported to have been replaced at that time. Exterior details include a removable white hardtop, a soft top, tinted windows, Custom badges, and chrome-finished bumpers, body-side molding, and window trim. The seller notes blemishes on the tailgate, photos of which can be viewed in the gallery.
Mickey Thompson 15″ wheels are mounted with 38″ Super Swamper tires, and the front axle has manually locking hubs. The truck is also equipped with a Skyjacker 6″ suspension lift with dual front shocks and a steering stabilizer as well as a 2″ body lift. The ball joints and wheel hubs were reportedly replaced under previous ownership, and stopping power is provided by power-assisted front disc brakes and rear drums.
The cabin was also overhauled with reupholstered seats with blue and white vinyl as well as a color-keyed dashboard pad, headliner, and door panels. The glove box door and rear interior panels are reported to have been replaced at that time along with the carpets and weather stripping. Appointments include an aftermarket rear-facing speaker system, an Alpine stereo, rubber floor mats, a power-operated rear window, and manual crank side windows. The seller notes the air conditioning does not function, and a removed compressor will accompany the truck along with a spare blue center console.
The three-spoke Grant steering wheel frames an 85-mph speedometer flanked by supplementary gauges. The five-digit mechanical odometer shows 20k miles, approximately 600 of which have been added under current ownership, and the total mileage is unknown. The removed factory steering wheel is included in the sale.
The 5.8-liter 351M V8 was reportedly refurbished under previous ownership and retrofitted with a four-barrel Edelbrock carburetor, an aluminum intake manifold, and tubular headers linked to a dual exhaust system. An Edelbrock air cleaner housing, chrome Moroso valve covers, and a Luxerad aluminum radiator have been fitted, and the seller states that the oil was changed and the carburetor was adjusted following their acquisition.
Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission, a dual-range transfer case, and a limited-slip rear differential with a 4.11:1 gear ratio. The frame is said to have been stripped before a rust-inhibiting coating was applied under previous ownership.
