A refurbishment carried out during current ownership reportedly involved disassembling the body from the frame, stripping the prior finish, replacing the fenders and floor pans, and repainting the truck in red. Equipment includes a matte gray removable hardtop, gray-finished steel bumpers, dual side mirrors, Cheyenne quarter panel badges, a roll-down rear window, and dual exhaust outlets.
Black 15″ steel wheels wear 33×12.5″ Nitto Trail Grappler M/T tires that show date codes from 2017. Stopping power is provided by power-assisted front discs and rear drums, and the seller states that the brakes were overhauled during current ownership. Additional work is said to have involved refurbishing the suspension.
The cabin features front bucket seats and a rear bench trimmed in replacement saddle brown vinyl along with matching door panel inserts and carpets. Equipment includes air conditioning, power steering, a tilt-adjustable steering wheel, a RetroSound stereo, a center console, and a replacement roll bar. Maintenance carried out during current ownership is said to have included replacement of the door seals and window felts.
The two-spoke steering wheel frames replacement instrumentation that consists of an 85-mph speedometer, a 5k-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. The five-digit odometer shows 11 miles, and true mileage is unknown.
The original 305ci V8 was replaced with a BluePrint Engines 350ci crate V8 in 2022. The seller states that it features a 9.3:1 compression ratio and is equipped with Vortec cast iron cylinder heads, an Edelbrock carburetor and intake manifold, and hydraulic roller tappets. A replacement wiring harness is said to have also been installed.
Power is sent to all four wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case. The frame was repaired and refinished in gloss black during the refurbishment, according to the seller.
Additional photos taken during the refurbishment are provided in the gallery.
Recent service records and a removed inoperable radio are included in the sale.
