Silver-finished 15″ sport wheels are wrapped in 6.00×15″ Continental tires, and a full-size spare is stored in the front trunk. Standard features included rack-and-pinion steering as well as four-wheel independent suspension, and braking is handled by four-wheel drums. Service in June 2022 included flushing the brake fluid and replacing the brake cylinders and two front brake hoses.
The front bucket seats and rear bench are upholstered in brown leatherette. Equipment includes a heater, a rosewood dash appliqué, Coco mats, and a locking glove compartment.
The four-spoke steering wheel fronts a 100-mph VDO speedometer with indicator lights as well as a fuel-level gauge. The five-digit odometer indicates 63 miles.
The air-cooled 1.6L flat-four was factory rated at 46 horsepower and 73 lb-ft of torque. The battery was reportedly replaced within the last year.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transaxle. Oil seepage can be seen on the underside of the engine and transaxle. Additional underbody photos are provided in the gallery.
