Turbine-style 15” wheels wear bowtie-logo center caps and are mounted with 205/75 Michelin Radial XH4 narrow whitewall tires. C2 Corvettes came standard with an independent four-wheel suspension, and braking is handled by power-assisted discs at all four corners.
The cabin features bucket seats upholstered in black leather joined by color-coordinated carpeting, door panels, and trim. Equipment includes a heater and defroster, a reverse lock-out shifter, an analog clock, vent windows, lap belts, and a vertical Delco AM/FM radio.
The three-spoke steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and supplementary gauges. The five-digit odometer shows 97k miles, approximately 6k of which have been added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.
The 327ci V8 was rebuilt under current ownership and features an orange engine block, intake manifold, and Chevrolet-script valve covers as well as a polished air cleaner and ignition cover. A smog system is installed but the belt has been removed.
An engine stamp is shown above and additional component stamp images are shown in the gallery.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a Muncie M20 four-speed manual transmission.
