Exterior details include a faux hood scoop, a roadster-style hard tonneau panel, dual side mirrors, quad headlights, bright trim, backup lights, and chrome bumpers. Work in 2022 reportedly included replacing the convertible top canvas and replacing the solenoids with relays.
Chrome-finished 14″ wire wheels feature three-eared knock-offs and are wrapped in 215/75 American Classic narrow-whitewall tires. The car is equipped with power steering, and braking is handled by power-assisted drums at all four corners.
The cabin features front buckets and a rear bench reupholstered in red vinyl joined by a matching dashboard, door panels, and carpets. Appointments include a center console, stainless-steel trim, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, a heater and defroster, power windows, a floating rear-view mirror, aftermarket speakers in the footwells, and an aftermarket Bluetooth stereo.
The three-spoke steering wheel features a chrome horn ring and frames a 120-mph speedometer, an electric clock, and a combination gauge for fuel level and coolant temperature. The five-digit mechanical odometer shows 78k miles, a handful of which were added by the selling dealer.
The 390ci V8 is equipped with a four-barrel carburetor and features a gold-painted air cleaner assembly and Thunderbird-branded valve covers.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Cruise-O-Matic three-speed automatic transmission.
