Red-finished 16″ steel wheels wear chrome-finished hubcaps and are mounted with whitewall tires. The brakes are said to have been overhauled under current ownership, and blemishes are noted in the finish of the wheels.
The interior features a split bench seat and an armrest that are trimmed in red with tan inserts. Red carpeting with matching mats covers the floors, and imperfections are noted in the red dash cover around the gauges. The selling dealer also notes that the seat cushions have settled.
A black four-spoke steering wheel with a gold Jaguar crest sits ahead of Smiths instrumentation that includes a 140-mph speedometer, a reverse-sweep 6k-rpm tachometer with an inset clock, and auxiliary gauges. The five-digit odometer shows 2,600 miles, approximately 1k of which have been added under current ownership. True mileage is unknown.
The trunk is finished in red and features a lifting panel, under which a jack and a tire iron are located.
The 3.4-liter inline-six utilizes dual overhead camshafts and twin SU carburetors. The carburetors have been rebuilt, and an aluminum fuel tank has been installed, according to the selling dealer.
The cylinder-head stamping is pictured above and matches the engine stamping as well as the number recorded on the chassis plate. Other stampings and the plate are shown in the photo gallery below.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual gearbox.
A tonneau cover and side curtains will accompany the car along with a reprinted owner’s manual and wiring diagram.
The California title lists the body number—F13078—as the VIN. The car’s chassis number is 813005.
