The car was delivered from the factory in Flame Red and has been repainted in its current shade during previous ownership. Equipment includes a black convertible soft top, chrome bumpers, faux fender vents, a hood scoop, and rear fender skirts with polished stone guards. The doors were recently adjusted to fit flush with the body, and a body-color hardtop will accompany the car.
Chrome 14″ wire wheels wear three-eared knock-off spinners and are mounted with Firestone Deluxe Champion whitewall tires. A full-size spare is housed in the trunk. The car is equipped with Masterglide power steering, and Swift Sure power brakes.
The interior features a bench seat trimmed in red vinyl with pleated inserts as well as a color-matching dashboard, visors, door panels, and carpets. Additional appointments include engine-turned dash trim, an aftermarket air conditioning system, a Signal Seek Town and Country radio, lap belts, and Thunderbird-branded floor mats.
The three-spoke steering wheel wears a chrome horn ring and frames a 140-mph speedometer, tachometer, clock, and gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. The five-digit odometer shows 356 miles, approximately 225 of which were added during current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.
The rebuilt 312ci V8 breathes through a Holley four-barrel carburetor and features finned Thunderbird valve covers. The seller states that the spark plugs and carburetor have been replaced, an electronic ignition has been installed, and a fluid service was performed in preparation for the sale.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a three-speed Ford-O-Matic automatic transmission. Additional photos of the underside are included in the gallery below.
