The Bora was penned by Giorgetto Giugiaro at Italdesign and debuted at the Geneva Motor Show in March 1971. This example was reportedly delivered from the factory in Celeste Chiaro and was refinished under current ownership. Features include a brushed stainless steel roof panel and A-pillars as well as black beltline trim, bright window accents, European-market chrome bumpers, and pop-up headlights that are shown raised in the gallery.
The 15″ Campagnolo wheels wear polished covers and are mounted with 235/60 BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires. A matching spare wheel with a Michelin radial tire is mounted aft of the engine. The braking system was reportedly overhauled during the refurbishment and is based on a high-pressure LHM hydraulic system from then-parent company Citröen. It features vented discs at all four corners.
The cockpit features fixed-back bucket seats that were reupholstered in black leather during the refurbishment. The door panels were retrimmed in matching leather at that time, and a matching headliner and carpets were also installed. Equipment includes a cassette player, power windows, and a center console ashtray. The rear-view mirror is missing.
The leather-wrapped three-spoke steering wheel frames Veglia Borletti instrumentation including a tachometer with a 5,500-rpm redline along with a 300-km/h speedometer and auxiliary gauges. The five-digit odometer shows 58k kilometers (~36k miles). Total mileage is unknown.
The 4.7-liter Tipo AM 107.07 quad-cam V8 features four Weber 42 DCNF twin-choke carburetors and was factory rated at 310 horsepower. Rebuilds of the engine and carburetors are said to have been performed during the refurbishment. A tune-up was performed in 2022.
