Chrome-clad 15″ wheels wear BFGoodrich Silvertown redline tires. The car features power-assisted rack and pinion steering and independent suspension with a hydraulic self-leveling rear. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel disc brakes.
The cabin features front power-adjustable bucket seats and a rear bench upholstered in red leather along with a color-coordinated headliner and door panels. Amenities include power accessories, cruise control, color-coordinated floor mats, a Continental radio, and automatic air conditioning with split-level climate control. The door panel wood trim shows signs of wear.
A plaque located in the glovebox denotes this Camargue as #1 of 12 Limited Edition examples produced for the model year.
A two-spoke steering wheel frames a 140-mph speedometer and supplementary gauges. The mechanical odometer shows 21k miles, of which approximately 500 were added during current ownership.
The 6.75-liter V8 was shared with the Silver Shadow and features Bosch fuel injection.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a GM-sourced three-speed automatic transmission. Additional underside photos can be seen in the gallery below.
