Steel 15×5.5″ wheels wear chrome hubcaps and are wrapped in reproduction Firestone tires. The car is equipped with finned brake drums and rear brake air ducts. A set of 15″ American Racing wheels mounted with Tiger Paw tires is included in the sale.
The cabin features charcoal vinyl bucket seats along with power windows, a dash-mounted rear-view mirror, lap belts, and Corvette-branded floor mats.
The three-spoke steering wheel sits ahead of a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. The five-digit mechanical odometer was reset during the refurbishment and shows 1,700 miles. Total mileage is unknown.
The 283ci V8 features Rochester fuel injection and was factory rated at 290 horsepower. The engine was overhauled in 2007.
The engine stamping is shown above. The CS suffix is consistent with a fuel-injected 290-horsepower 283ci V8 paired with a four-speed manual transmission installed in a 1958 Corvette. A photo in the gallery displays part number 7014900R on the Rochester fuel injection unit.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission and a rear axle reportedly fitted with 3.73:1 gears during the refurbishment.
