Black-finished steel wheels wear chrome covers and are mounted with 165R15 Vredestein Sprint Classic tires. A full-size spare mounted with a Vredestein tire is stored in the front compartment. The suspension was modified for a lowered ride height in 2022.
The cabin is trimmed in black leatherette with woven inserts on the front seats, color-coordinated door panels, and gray carpeting. Equipment includes a four-spoke steering wheel, a Blaupunkt cassette head unit, fold-down rear seats, and adjustable front headrests.
VDO instrumentation includes a 120-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 6k-rpm redline, and auxiliary gauges. The six-digit odometer shows 24k miles, approximately 2k of which were added under current ownership. True mileage is unknown. Per the seller, the left interior door release is inoperative and the headlights remain illuminated when the car is running.
The flat-four engine was reportedly modified with a Mahle 1,720cc big bore kit under prior ownership, and it is equipped with dual Weber carburetors and a Bursch muffler. An oil change was completed in June 2022.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle sourced from a 914 model. Additional photos of the underside are provided in the image gallery.
