Pontiac’s eight-lug wheel design consisted of an open steel rim secured to an exposed finned-aluminum brake drum. The wheels wear Pontiac Motor Division hubcaps and chrome trim rings and are fitted with vintage-style Monarch tires. The suspension and steering system were overhauled during the refurbishment.
The Ventura upholstery (245) includes a tri-tone red, maroon, and white color scheme on the front and rear bench seats. The car is not equipped with a radio, but it is equipped with a Hurst floor shifter.
A two-spoke red steering wheel with a chrome horn ring fronts a 120-mph horizontal speedometer, an ammeter, and a fuel-level gauge. The five-digit odometer was reset during the refurbishment and shows 21 miles. Total mileage is unknown.
The 421ci V8 is topped with dual four-barrel carburetors and was factory-rated at 405 horsepower. An oil change was carried out in anticipation of the sale. Photos of engine stampings and component casting numbers are provided in the gallery below.
Power is sent to the rear wheels via a Borg-Warner T-10 four-speed manual transmission and a 4.30:1 Safe-T-Track rear differential. Additional photos of the underside are provided in the image gallery.
