Production for the 1996 US-market NSX-T consisted of 112 examples finished in Formula Red over a Camel interior, just 14 of which were equipped with an automatic transaxle. Additional features include a body-color removable roof panel, pop-up headlights, an integrated rear wing, side air intakes, power-adjustable side mirrors, and dual exhaust outlets.
Staggered-diameter 16” and 17” seven-spoke aluminum wheels wear 215/45 front and 245/40 rear BFGoodrich g-Force Rival tires that were installed under current ownership. The car features a four-wheel double-wishbone suspension with front and rear stabilizer bars. Braking is handled by NSX-branded calipers over vented rotors at each corner.
The cabin features power-adjustable sport seats upholstered in Camel leather, while black leather covers the dashboard as well as the upper center console and door surfaces. Interior amenities include automatic climate control, cruise control, a Bose sound system, and a cassette stereo. The stainless-steel door sill plates are stamped with the car’s serial number.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a tachometer with a 7,500-rpm redline, a 188-mph speedometer, and gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level. The six-digit mechanical odometer shows 1,441 miles, approximately 150 of which were added by the seller.
The mid-mounted 3.0-liter V6 features VTEC variable valve timing and was factory rated at 252 horsepower and 210 lb-ft of torque. The timing belt, accessory drive belts, battery, and spark plugs were replaced in 2020.
Power is routed to the rear wheels via a four-speed automatic transaxle and a limited-slip differential. Additional underside images can be viewed in the gallery.
The window sticker lists factory colors and equipment, initial delivery to Davis Acura in Langhorne, Pennsylvania, and a total vehicle price of $87,725.
Manufacturer’s literature is included in the sale.
