The body was removed from the frame and repainted Toyota’s shade of Army Green following the installation of a patch panel in the bed, along with replacement floors, inner and outer rockers, and quarter panels. Repairs were also performed on the hood, roof, doors, and fenders at that time, and photos from the work are provided in the gallery. Exterior details include LED lights, silver-painted bumpers, Cummins Turbo Diesel badging, white pinstripes, dual fuel tanks, and a diamond-plate bedliner. The seller notes that the turn signals illuminate when the brake pedal is depressed.
Silver-painted 15” steel wheels are mounted with 31×10.5” Bridgestone Dueler A/T tires. The truck has been fitted with a power steering box sourced from a 1995 Jeep Cherokee, and additional modifications include front disc and rear drum brakes from a Scout II, along with a 2” front and 1” rear suspension lift. The front and rear shocks and hubs were replaced during the refurbishment.
The cabin houses gray cloth bucket seats sourced from a later-model Chevrolet Trailblazer, along with diamond-plate paneling and a silver-painted dash. Appointments include three-point seatbelts, rubber floor mats, USB charge ports located in the glove compartment, and crank windows.
The three-spoke steering wheel fronts Stewart-Warner and AutoMeter gauges consisting of an 80-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and displays for fuel level, oil pressure, water temperature, voltage, and boost pressure. The six-digit odometer shows 236 miles, though total chassis mileage is unknown.
The 3.9-liter Cummins 4BT turbodiesel inline-four was installed by the seller in 2020 and is fitted with a replacement Turbone turbocharger. The alternator and power steering pump are also said to have been replaced during the build, while fluid changes were performed in June 2021.
